Hello! A certified elementary edu. teacher that once taught here in Missouri, I am now a stay home mom of 3 kids, a daughter aged 6 and two boys ages 9 & 12 yrs. My husband is a pharmacist at a local hospital but is also an avid musician/member of several bands often playing around town on the "night scene". Having loved animals all my life and sharing this love with my children, we have a variety of pets including two pretty ordinary pug dogs that seem to think they run the house! My daughter has Type 1 Diabetes and our entire family is extremely active with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We are traveling to Washington DC's Capitol Hill this summer to urge our nation's lawmakers to encourage more federal funding for diabetes research!
