My son plays baseball and had a terrific game recently, going 4 for 4 with a grand slam (a real one) and was the winning pitcher. People cheered for him, his teammates congratulated him, but one parent could only come up with "Maybe if he'd hit like that all year we would have done better." Seriously, parents, think before you speak. This was the most ridiculous comment I've ever heard. As parents, have you ever experienced those moments when another parent says something that is just so ridiculous and thoughtless that you could just scream?
