Dog Walking in St. Louis

I have two dogs, a beagle and a border collie, who I take on walks and hikes every day in all kinds of weather. Today my beagle Scooter and I walked at Forest 44 Conservation Area. It was a beautiful day for it. The deer must have been busy out there this morning because Scooter spent the entire 1 hour walk HOOWWLLLLING as only a beagle on the trail of a deer can howl! Yesterday the border collie, Monkey, and Scooter and I took a good, brisk hike at West Tyson County Park. We had a great walk there. I was surprised that we didn't meet any bicyclists or any other hikers. It was a great day for it with the nice breeze and cooler fall temperatures. Where is your favorite hike around St. Louis with your dog, and what do you (and your furry friend) like best about it?
