McDonalds Drive-thru prices higher!

This is no new information folks but have you heard of a "take out tax"? I don't know about other restaurants but McDonalds has (for a long time) charged a take out tax if you drive thru or order inside but tell them it's to go! I just paid $1.06 in take out tax this wkend. Here's a tip...when they ask if it;s "to go" when ordering at the counter...just tell them you're eating in and you won't be taxed. Guess I'm cheap? lol

There are quite a few delicious places to get Indian food in St. Louis. But there's one place people seem to have missed. If you like Indian food try the place called SAFFRON at Manchester/Barrett Station Rds. It is in the same shopping plaza as the Burlington. Saffron has a buffet and the food is always hot and fresh and the place is immaculately CLEAN. Service is very friendly and a large variety of dishes to choose from including desserts. I personally love the Tandori chicken and the many vegetable dishes. We have told many of our Indian friends about this place that used to be called Peacock. They never tried Saffron when Peacock closed and after telling them, they RAVE about it now!!!

Another Candicci's just opened! It is in west county off Holloway at the Manchester intersection. It is across the street from Target on Manchester Rd. in Ballwin. They have great Italian food and live music on Wednesday nights. My husband loves the Italian fried potatoe side dish. GREAT SALADS!
