VIRAL VIDEO • Lonely lady befriends, dances with mannequin

Continuing my theme of creepy TV shows from my childhood, let's take a look at the opening titles from a show I was glued to in the late '80s: "Today's Special."

The opening was the same every time, and it sets up the premise of the show: A department store closes for the night, and the overnight employees party down with a mannequin who comes to life when made to wear an awful hat. All sorts of hilarity and hijinks ensue, and there usually is some sort of valuable, wholesome lesson to be learned.

My concerns as I watched this show:

How on earth do Jodie ("display designer") and Sam ("security guard") manage to get anything accomplished when they're fiddling around and having fun all night long?
What sort of department store dresses a mannequin in the same clothes for five years?
